The 'Thistle of my Heart Plate' is an artwork celebrating the romantic wildlife of the Inner Hebrides, Scotland, where Sasha partially grew up. The artwork is a reminder of the positives of nature and an appreciation for celtic history.
 
Text reads: Thistle of my heart you give me up these big hills.
 
The text surrounding the plate is inspired by artist Colin Millington's post war woven works which feature romantic text about sailors going off to sea during the war. Sasha's interpretation shows her personal perspective; that everyone has an exciting journey to take in life and that positives can come from difficult challenges such as hiking up munros.
 
As part of Sasha's 'Sculpted by' range, this artwork is one of Sasha's hand made ceramic works; handbuilt with earthenware clay, glazed and fired by Sasha in her London studio.
 
This plate is made to be a statement showpiece for your home, hung on a wall or displayed on a stand. Sasha's sculpted by stamp is on the reverse, certifying it is an original.
 
Artwork is unique and one of a kind. 
This platter is not food or dishwasher safe.
